No matter how many times I am rejected it always feels like a punch to the gut no matter how kind the rejection email is. Why does it make me feel so bad? Usually this bad feeling will last for a couple of days, and then I will pick myself up and carry on. On social media, I almost never share my failures and feelings of being low for fear that it will bring others down too. But as I look at it now, only posting the good stuff creates the false projection that everything is great all the time. I wanted to tell you today that that is not the case. So, going forward, I am going to try to be more balanced in what I share - the good and the bad. Whatever your life’s journey, there are ups and downs. That is life. That is living a creative life as well. THE REJECTED
